HBO’s Game of Thrones season 7 had its episode 4 leaked online before its premiere on Sunday. The episode titled, “The Spoils of War,” was leaked after a cyber attack on HBO’s partners, Star India.
Game of Thrones episode 4 is now out in the digital world and as we all know it, many have already downloaded the leaked episode from different online sites.
The new episode is said to have been leaked from Star India, one of HBO’s international network partners, which receives episodes in advance of air.
A Star India spokesperson released this statement: “This confirms the compromise of episode 4 of Game of Thrones Season 7, earlier this afternoon. We take this breach very seriously and have immediately initiated forensic investigations at our and the technology partner’s end to swiftly determine the cause. This is a grave issue and we are taking appropriate legal remedial action.”

HBO has had a tougher time securing its Game of Thrones episodes in the past and it has tried it’s level best to keep hackers out but all has been in vain.
Game of Thrones is the most illegally downloaded show in the world at the moment. This is bad for HBO but at the same time it has only continued to make the show even more popular than ever.
The recent season premiere has now surpassed an incredible 30 million viewers in the U.S. alone, plus is breaking ratings records worldwide.
