International US rapper, Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian a reality TV star have made promises to invest more money in building an infrastructure for the Masulita kids orphanage.
According to the rapper, “we will be back here to build infrastructure and make sure it is good”
On Tuesday, Kanye and Kim along with their daughter North West visited a home for vulnerable children in Masulita in Wakiso district where they danced and sang with the young ones and gave new pairs of sneakers.
The Masulita kids orphange is run by a charity organisation called Uganda Women’s Effort to Save Orphans (UWESO). “We are going to build it bigger” said Kanye in reference to the buildings set up by the charity organisation for the orphans.
Kanye also praised Uganda for its heavenly beauty and wonderful people and also said him and his lovely wife will return to Uganda later though he didn’t specify the date.
The celebrity couple set foot in Uganda last week and have been staying at the Chobe Safari Lodge in Murchison Falls national park where they spent their time enjoying the wildlife experience of the Pearl of Africa.
The reason behind the rappers visit was to refresh his mind and energy as he works on his ninth album, ‘Yandhi’ which will be released next month.
