Last night the premier league got back on the way as Arsenal went against Everton at Goodison Park and Leicester made a trip to Goldsands Stadium against AFC Bournemouth.
Everton 2 Arsenal 1
Turns out it wasn’t a good day for the visitors as Arsenal opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a free kick from Alexis Sanchez which puts his league goal tally at 12 same as Diego Costa.
Minutes before half time a header from Seamus Coleman put the toffees back in the game. Defender Ashley Williams got the last goal in the 86th minute to blow Arsenal’s chances of going top of the table.
AFC Bournemouth 1 Leicester 0
In the other game, Leicester were looking to continue with their good mood after a win against Man City over the weekend but a goal from Marc Pugh in the 34th minute sealed the win for Bournemouth.
Leicester now hold the worst away record of any Premier League defending champions after 8 matches as the foxes have only one point away.
