Logitech acquires Astro Gaming to help it tap into the vast console market
Logitech for a long time has been focused mainly on PC gamers with its various accessories like mice, keyboards, headsets, and other peripherals. Now that Astro is on board, the company will be able to cover and gain more market share in the gaming industry.
According to reports, Logitech doesn’t plan on changing the Astro brand and will only shift it to Logitech G division where they will stay focused on PC peripherals, while Astro will remain a console-first brand.
The deal is expected to close by the end of August.
