Protecting President-elect Donald Trump and his family is costing New York City more than $1 million a day, according to three city officials.
Donald has just been elected as new president and him and his family are already proving to be a pain in the b*tt for the New York city officials.
This is all happening because the Trump family feels they’re so cool and special not to sleep in the white house. Melania Trump, Donald’s confused wife and their 10-year old son Barron expect to stay at their home at Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan, at least until the end of the school year.
As if that isn’t enough, the cost gets even more bigger since the police is also assigned to Trump’s adult children and his grandchildren, who are also under the Secret Service protection.

John Miller, NYPD’s deputy commissioner of intelligence & counter-terrorism, told WCBS Monday. All of them live in the city, and all are entitled to receive Secret Service protection.
The mayor of New York city, Bill de Blasio had this to say, “The number one imperative here is safety and security. We owe that to the president elect, his family and his team,”
“This is a very substantial undertaking. It will take substantial resources,” he said. “We will begin the conversation with the federal government shortly on reimbursement for the NYPD for some of the costs that we are incurring.“
Let’s hope his protection costs don’t cross into Africa too. We can’t manage another Trump inflation.
