Stanbic Bank together with Katutandike Uganda, a non-governmental community based Organisation which supports vulnerable communities in Uganda, have officially opened the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Centre in Bunga.
The centre is to support up to 30 children per day while providing quality day care services for young children from families working in the nearby Ggaba market area with a clean, safe and healthy environment so that they can enjoy high quality school education.
Stanbic Bank Chief Executive, Patrick Mweheire said that Early Childhood development is among their focus areas of corporate social investments and their aim is to change the situation for the disadvantaged children hence making it possible for them to get a good start early in life by allowing them to develop their numeracy, literacy and social skills at the right age.
