Matthew Kanyamunyu, his girlfriend Cynthia Munwangari and brother Joseph Kanyamunyu have been committed to the High Court for trial by the Nakawa grade one Magistrate, Noah Sajjabi for the murder of Kenneth Akena.
Akena was shot dead last year when allegedly he accidentally scratched Matthew Kanyamunyu’s car. Today morning, Noah sent the suspects to High Court for trial after receiving confirmation from the police that the investigations about the matter were finally complete.
In the process of the above, the Director of Public Prosecutions said that he has evidence to sustain the murder charge against the trio for the murder of Akena.
During the court session, Joseph Kanyamunyu was separately charged with being an accessory after commission of offense. The suspects were sent back to Luzira prison as they wait to appear before the next convenient High Court criminal session.
