Drama Review: Bride of the Water God, 2017

Bride of the Water God is a new South Korean television drama spin-off of the 2006 sunjung manhwa Bride of the Water God by Yoon Mi-Kyung.

A water god named Ha Baek (Nam Joo-Hyuk) who finds his bride in 2017 and cannot navigate his way around new-fangled gadgets and a busy city life. Refers to his bride So-A a psychiatrist (Shin Se-Kyung) as his “servant.” However she assumes he has mental issues and seems to pity him.

Given the intensity the Kdrama (Korean drama) had gotten from Goblin, we believe the mythology and historical concerns will be elaborated well enough. I recommend you get yourselves time and catch the drama as it unfolds.
