It looks like the new year has started so well for the two Ugandan musicians that is to say Irene Ntale and Maurice Kirya. The two musicians landed a new ambassadorial role alongside local comedian Patrick Salvado Idringi as they have been named the Wild Aid Ambassadors for Uganda.
Kirya, Ntale and Salvado will now be part of a rich range of celebrity ambassadors from across the globe that includes renowned sportsmen, musicians, businessmen and movie stars like Carmello Anthony, Sir Richard Branson, Jackie Chan, Leonardo Di Caprio and Lupita Nyong’o and many more.
Wild Aid is a non-profit organization that seeks to end the illegal wildlife trade which can be done by reducing global consumption of wildlife products through public awareness campaigns and strengthening enforcement.
We look forward to see great work done by the new appointed ambassadors.
