Couples Have Early Weddings Before Trump Is Sworn In

As Donald Trump is about to be sworn in as the next United States president, same-sex couples took the opportunity to plan and have their weddings before the end of 2016 in fear of Trump’s anti-gay administration.

According to a slew of posts on the Facebook group Pantsuit Nation, a good number of people in the LGBT community decided to tie the note in the early starting weeks of 2017 before Obama’s administration leaves office.

Many think and believe that Trump isn’t going to be supportive of the gay community as Obama was and fear that a lot may happen during the regime of the new administration and are not taking any chances.

The Facebook group Pantsuit Nation received thousands of reactions to the newly wedded couples as people congratulated them upon making their vows.

If the Donald Trump’s presidency is capable of driving such a reaction, probably the same applies to those who planned on leaving the country after Trump’s win last year.
