Donald Trump, who had promised his voters during his campaigns to rid the cabinet of greedy and rich elites is instead filling it with more millionaires and billionaires.
Most of the supporters that rallied behind Trump are in for a shock as the new president elect has done the opposite of what he had promised earlier in his proactive speeches.
On Wednesday, Trump announced Steve Mnuchin, a former Goldman Sachs executive who served as his campaign finance chairman, as his choice for treasury secretary and Wilbur Ross, a private equity investor, as his pick for secretary of commerce.
According to Forbes, Ross is ranked 232 as one of the richest people in US with an estimated fortune of 10,476,829,855,000 Ug Shillings ($2.9 Billion).
Mnuchin, his former campaign finance chairman is valued at 144,507,998,000 Ug shillings ( $40 million) which makes one wonder whether all those campaign speeches were just lies.
Todd Ricketts, whose family owns the Chicago Cubs and is the 66th richest person in America, per Forbes, was named deputy commerce secretary on Wednesday.
Trump isn’t holding back and he is definitely making sure the cabinet sits are for those with fat pockets. To know more about the other rich snakes he added to his cabinet check out the story at Yahoo news.
