Goodlyfe Star: Mowzey Radio Dies at 33

Mowzey Radio aka Moses Ssekibogo of the Goodlyfe Crew died today morning at Case clinic after spending some days there undergoing treatment.

According to reports, the death was announced this morning by the musician’s promoter Balaam Barugarhara on his Facebook wall.

Radio was receiving treatment at Case clinic for serious injuries he sustained during a bar fight along Entebbe road on Monday, January 22, 2018.

The news of Radio’s passing was later confirmed by Case clinic in a press statement.

“The management of Case hospital regret to announce the passing of Moses Ssekibogo alias Moze Radio today 1st February 2018 at 6.00am. There will be a press conference at 11am at the Case Hospital board room on the 7th floor.”

The Radio & Weasel Facebook page also confirmed the reports about his passing later on after posting, “The King Is Gone”

Radio’s passing came as a shock to many as he was known for his talent in the music scene. He was part of the Goodlyfe Crew alongside his duo partner Douglas Mayanja James aka Weasel.

The duo is famously known for their hit songs like Bread & Butter, Nakudata, Ability, Kuku, Neumann and so many others.

Radio’s death comes two years after the death of Weasel’s brother Emmanuel Mayanja (stage name AK-47) in similar circumstances on March 16. 2015.

Mowzey Radio was 33 years old. May his soul rest in peace.
