Magistrate Orders Interpol To Arrest Wizkid

Reports coming in from our sources state that a Chief magistrate of the Buganda Court yesterday issued an arrest warrant for Nigerian star Wizkid.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun aka Wizkid is in hot soup as the angry chief magistrate ordered the International Police (Interpol) to arrest the superstar for obtaining money by false pretense as cited under section 305 of the Uganda’s penal code.

As if that wasn’t enough, another case was opened against Wizkid which refers to the case of conspiracy to defraud contrary to section 309 of the penal code act.

Baligeya Moses Mufumbiro, a grade one magistrate wasted no time on the matter and has ordered Interpol to arrest the star and present him for a court hearing before January 16th, 2017.

Wizkid, who earlier failed to show up for the Kampala concert leaving many Ugandans pissed, is now in trouble with the Buganda court and charges brought against him concern his failure to show up for the show.

The charges were brought against by lawyers of Muwema co advocates and solicitors who are counsel to Face TV which is accusing Wizkid of receiving Shs215,520,000 million ($60,000) as performance fee for a show that he never showed up for.
