Tecno recently made the DroiPad 10 Pro II, a much anticipated tablet that is changing not only the African scene but the global Android tablet scene by coming fully customized with Remix OS.
This is just after their flaring Apple like launch event for the Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus it held in Dubai, UAE in a bid to expand into the Middle East and South America.
Remix OS (2.0) is a very beautiful free open source variation of Android developed by Jide for tablets and PCs which unlike the regular Android OS, it allows the user to enjoy the Windows like experience complete with task bars, menus, keyboard, mouse, icons and desktop.
Tecno goes wild with their awesome DroiPad 10 Pro II
Tecno is probably the first major smart-phone maker to run this on a large scale and ship it out on their products. It is a revolutionary step. Besides Remix OS what else do we expect from the Tecno DroiPad 10 Pro II specs?
Tecno has moved away from being the small kid bullied by all other big kids in the mobile market since it started as a low tech lousy Chinese telecom company.
It is for this very reason some people still don’t want to buy its smartphones even if they are now undoubtedly amazing.
What we love about the DroiPad 10
This pad proves this notion otherwise as it comes packed with incredible strength such as 1.3 Ghz Quad core processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB Internal Memory with an expansion memory card slot for you to save all your files, those Sheeba and Kenzo tracks and even movies. It also plays games like Asphalt incredibly well with close to no lag.
It has a 10.1″ IPS Touch screen that will feed your eyes with brightness at a decent 1,280 x 800 pixels Full HD display. However we found the camera quite underwhelming with the mere 5MP back camera and 2MP front camera, though we were reassured these were pre-release specs and that the actual one released will have 13MP back with tech to even show your tiny pimples and 5MP front.
The Droipad 10 Pro II also comes with a detachable keyboard making it more like a laptop with the exact same functions and these are all complemented by the Remix OS multi-task interface and the pre-installed productivity tools like Microsoft Office that come with it.

The most amazing feature of all is the 7000mAh battery which has been hyped to last for more than 3 days of usage.
Tecno has also adapted Mediatek’s own version of QuickCharge called Pump Express+ which gives it close to 80% juice in less than 20 minutes.
You can also use the accompanied OTG cable to charge other devices using the Droipad 10 Pro II as a power bank.
Verdict: We love the very beautiful Remix OS 2.0, the detachable keyboard it comes with making it both a laptop and tab, OTG and the immense battery!
We think you would love this, if you’re in town looking for a tab we would recommended it for the buy.
